Short report of Task G.3: International cave rescue training for instructors

In the frame of the EU Proteus, International cave rescue training was held from 14th to 22nd September in Paklenica, Croatia. Over sixty participants had one week of intensive cave rescue drill. At the Basic level training 9 instructors lead 20 trainees from 11 countries. Advance cave rescue training for instructors was leaded by Christian Dodelin and Bernard Tourte (French instructors) and by the help of 7 instructors from Slovenia and Croatia they trained 17 trainees. Beside a lot of cave rescue manoeuvres knowledge an important matter is international cooperation of different cave rescue service.

Participants were from: Slovenia, Croatia, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Hungary.

This International cave rescue meeting was also the last big activity of the EU Proteus project that has successfully finished all planned Tasks.
